NEEND is a wellness app for tracking sleep patterns. It is not a medical device, not FDA-cleared, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition, including but not limited to sleep apnea or any other sleep disorder.
The NEEND Score, AHI estimates, breathing event detection, and all other outputs are for informational and wellness purposes only. They should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you suspect you have a sleep disorder, please consult a qualified healthcare provider. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this app.
NEEND is designed to help you track breathing patterns during sleep and build healthier sleep habits. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms and applicable law.
NEEND requires microphone access to function during sleep sessions. By starting a sleep session, you consent to the app recording audio from your environment. All audio is processed on-device and deleted after analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that recording audio in your environment complies with local laws, including any laws requiring consent from others who may be present.
If you choose to enable HealthKit integration, NEEND will write sleep session data to Apple Health. This is optional and controlled by you through iOS permissions. HealthKit data is governed by Apple’s terms and your device settings.
NEEND uses audio analysis to estimate breathing patterns. Results may be affected by:
We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that results will be complete, accurate, or reliable for any particular purpose.
NEEND is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of NEEND shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
